Digerati Web Developer

LifeChurch.tv’s Team Digerati is looking for a Jesus follower, who—through web development–wants to change the world by building tools to resource LifeChurch.tv and the global Church.

We are looking for a backend web developer who is intimately familiar with Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML5/CSS3, and Git.

LifeChurch.tv is one of the largest, fastest growing and most innovative churches in the country. We are one church in multiple locations, with locations all over the United States and at Church Online. You are:

Someone who loves a challenge and comes to the table with solutions
Always thinking, "Can we make that easier to use?"
Someone who can work from a structured to-do list

A learner, who loves to learn from your peers and industry leaders

You know well:

Ruby / Ruby on Rails (3.1+)
JavaScript / jQuery
Git
APIs (the more the better!)

You want to explore:

Coffeescript
SASS
jQuery
Github
Python or PHP (just don’t get carried away, ya hear?)
Heroku
Agile development

Would rock if you:

Have a long list of projects you’ve contributed to on Github
Are always looking for great examples of customer service
Are a networker and enjoy connecting with others
Get your kicks from people watching at the State Fair
Have a broad sense of humor and a deep appreciation for the absurd
