Volunteer Central Next Gen Blog Site Developer

Location: Central Office
Time Commitment: 2-5 hours per week

You will be:
  • Creating a new blog site for LifeKIDS
  • Creating a new blog site for LifeYouth
  • Maintain the info to be posted for both sites weekly
  • Keep the sites interesting and appealing to users

Volunteer Human Resources Support

Location: Central Office
Time Commitment: 2-5 hours per week during office hours, Monday-Fridays between 8am and 5pm.

You will be:
  • Supporting the staff team through HR administrative tasks
  • Processing volunteer background checks
  • Implementing the volunteer background check documentation retention project
  • Updating and maintaining Google docs
  • Various special project assignments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Google Docs.

Additional Information:

Volunteer Finance Assistant

Volunteer Central Next Generation Project Coordinator.

Location: Central Office
Time Commitment: 10 hours a week

You will be:
  • Ordering supplies and resources for campuses
  • Planning retreats and helping book travel
  • Creating surveys and organizing weekly reports
  • Answering questions and delegating tasks to campus Youth Pastors
  • Coordinating events and meetings

Volunteer SWITCH Student Culture Analyst

Location: Central Office
Time Commitment: 5+ hours a week

You will be:
  • Searching the web for cool videos, trends, and student friendly sites that can be used in our SWITCH experiences and training.
  • Collecting interesting stories/ articles about students and student culture.
  • Watching television, listening to music, and going to movies and then giving us your feedback.
You are:
  • Someone who is on the computer way too much, listens to lots of music, spends hours watching television, and is planning on going to see a new movie this weekend. And your parents didn’t think this could be a job.
  • A big fan of pop culture. You know who and what is in.
  • Able to think like a student, identify what students like, and capture information that would be needed.

Additional Information:
This position is a minimum of 5 hours a week and can be accomplished from a home computer. The Student Culture Analyst will send weekly articles, thoughts, or stories about student culture to the SWITCH team. These resources will then be used to help shape our approach to ministry, our series, and our marketing. There are no office hours, but occasional brainstorming meetings/ conference calls will be required.

Volunteer Contributions Data Entry

Location: Central Offices
Time Commitment: Minimum of 4 hours/day, every two weeks. Must be during office hours Monday - Thursdays between 8am and 5pm.

You will be:

  • Responsible for weekly data entry of contributions from members, attendees and other donors

Volunteer SWITCH Social Media Scientist

Location: Central Office
Time Commitment: 5+ hours a week

You will be:
  • Utilizing social media and technology to impact and change students' lives all over the world.
  • Daily managing and adding content to our current SWITCH social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, iTunes).
  • Working with various teams at Lifechurch.tv to discover and create new social media sites that connect with students.

Volunteer SWITCH Coach
Albany Campus

Location: Albany Campus office & your home
Time Commitment: 5-7 hours/week (including the SWITCH experience night)

You will be:

  • Communicating with volunteers on a weekly basis about ministry information

  • Leading and scheduling indoor Excellence Team members during the week

    • Keep the lobby neat

    • Strategize and innovate ways to improve guest’s first impression and overall experience

Volunteer LifeKIDS Cast Member Relations Assistant
Wellington Campus

Location: Wellington Campus Offices
Time Commitment: 4-8 hours per week

You will be:
    Communicating with cast members through various forms (phone calls, emails, etc.) Processing new cast member and junior cast member applications Placing new cast members in specific roles Showing appreciation to cast members by writing cards Event Planning
You are:
    Proficient in Microsoft Word Willing to learn to use two databases An excellent communicator Passionate about making people feel appreciated Great at building positive relationships Responsible and possess a strong work ethic
